The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd

8.3| Based on 0.0K ratings

Half a year after the events of Trails in the Sky Second Chapter, Liberl has settled into peace once again—but even in tranquil times, greed festers among the distinguished and fortunate, fueled by the influence of ancient artifacts. Most of the population remains blind to their abuses of power, but the enigmatic Gralsritter, the most secretive order of the beloved Septian Church, treats hunting down such would-be villains and confiscating artifacts as routine as professing faith in the Goddess. On the eve of yet another successful mission, high-ranking Father Kevin Graham is promptly assigned to retrieve one more artifact resting beneath Grancel Cathedral. Though he could easily complete the task alone, he must reluctantly take along his newest recruit: rookie Gralsritter and childhood friend Sister Ries Argent. Thus begins a mission that proves anything but routine, plunging them into a mysterious new realm governed by an unnaturally strict set of rules—Phantasma. There, the history of the Septian Church and the hidden pasts of the many familiar faces who once fought for Liberl’s future will be laid bare… and some secrets might have been better left sealed forever. A More Personal Adventure: Trails in the Sky has long been beloved for its thoughtfully written characters, down to the lowliest NPC, and this final installment goes further by fleshing out its playable cast through the Moon and Star doors discovered throughout the story. Familiar Tactics, Brutal Combat: Widely regarded as the most challenging entry in the series, the 3rd encourages players to refine the combat style they mastered in its predecessors—whether that means savoring the deep story on Easy or grinding their teeth through its unforgiving Nightmare difficulty. One More from Falcom Sound Team jdk: Nihon Falcom is renowned for brilliant music, and the Trails series is no exception, with the 3rd adding dozens of new tracks to keep players engaged through every step of Phantasma. And of course, even more Olivier—because two Sky games were simply never enough.
